Women’s singles: L. Barnett (Pareora) 1, P. Brown (Shirley-St Albans) 2. Men’s pairs: B. Bartholomew and B. Trethaway (Hoon Hay) 1, B. Whittaker and C. Garrett (Papanui) 2. Men’s singles: D. Watson (Invercargill) 1, Whittaker 2. The South Island team to meet the North Island at Mosgiel in September is.—D. Watson, B. Whittaker, G. Allpress, L. Drake, B. Bartholomew, P. O’Connor, M.
