Dixon asked for contract details
PA Wellington The New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association may withdraw permission for Rod Dixon to compete overseas unless he furnishes information on several of his advertising contracts before August 1. The secretary, Mr Barry Meyers, said yesterday the association wanted to complete with Dixon details of
contracts both in New Zealand and overseas. Athletes must have the approval of their national governing body to compete overseas and Mr Meyers said permission could be withdrawn in the case of Dixon. The action was part of the association’s policy of keeping a close eye on advertising, he added.
