Two notices of motion, moved by the Prime Minister, Mr Lange, and the Leader of the Opposition, Mr McLay, concerning the Rainbow Warrior bombing, were passed immediately. Members presented 15 other notices of motion. The Minister of Labour, Mr Rodger, introduced the Higher Salaries and Allowances Bill. It was referred to the Labour and Education Select Committee.
