The appointment of an Assistant Lecturer will be for three years. The successful applicant will be required to teach either • Soviet studies (social history, political and social ideas, the development of Soviet institutions) or modern Russian and Soviet literature at all levels. Duties will also include the teaching of contemporary Russian language. Postgraduate experience in the Soviet Union would be a distinct advantage.
