Medical qualifications must be registrable in New Zealand. The Chair has been established with a view to promoting Interdisciplinary graduate studies in the neurosciences. Applicants should have postgraduate qualifications in an appropriate field and an established record of research achievement in neurophysiology. Teaching experience at both undergraduate and graduate levels is essential, and the successful applicant will be expected to promote the development of a Centre for Graduate Studies in Neural Sciences.
