Escaper still at large
The Christchurch police still seek a man who escaped from custody at the District Court on Friday morning. Adrian Mark Masters, aged 23, sprinted from the No. 1 courtroom as he was moving from the dock to the holding cells for a remand in custody. Masters is charged with burglary, unlawful possession of a firearm, and a breach of periodic detention. He is described as 169 cm (sft 6in) tall, of medium build, with black hair and brown eyes.
