Murder charge
PA Wellington Russell Thomas Britt, aged 23, a works scheme labourer, was committed in custody to the High Court on February 13 to face a murder charge following a depositions hearing in the
District Court at Wellington yesterday. He is accused of murdering Warren Peter Ormsby, who died following a party at Peka Peka, near Waikanae, last November. Britt pleaded not guilty to the charge.
