Efficient cooking

Here are some hints on saving power by using the oven efficiently:— Keep the lids on pots and cook by simmering. Try cooking several dishes at the same time. After cooking a meal use the heat already created to. bake biscuits, for instance. Try cooking an entire meal using the top/ of a stove only. Boiled vegetables and food to be grilled can be done on dual grill plates. When cooking only a small amount of vegetables, wrap in foil parcels and cook in the one pot. Do not use unwanted lights. Keep lamp shades and fittings clean. The frypan takes less time to cook food.
