Youth worker funds
PA Wellington The National Youth Council of New Zealand wants Government funding for youth workers and groups of young people, particularly those involved in setting up employment or recreation programmes. The council said it wel-
corned the increase in physical welfare grants from the Internal Affairs Department. However, funding was also needed for youth workers and groups of young people not attracted to youth organisations, said the deputy president, Mr Larry Pritchard.
