Pumas’ near-test team
NZPA Sydney Argentina has selected a near test line-up for the opening game of its Australian rugby tour against New South Wales, at the Sydney Cricket Ground today. “Only one player — Minguez — has not pulled on a national jersey against a top ranking rugby country be-
fore,” said the Pumas’ coach, Rodolfo “Michingo” O’Reilly, a fifth generation Argentinian of Irish ancestry. The team includes the brilliant five-eighths, Hugo Porta, the speedy full-back and goal-kicker, Martin Sansot, the gifted lock, Gustavo Milano, and the flanker, Tomas Petersen.
