Art by Margetts
Paintings and sketches by a Christchurch artist, David Margetts, will be exhibited at the C.S.A. Gallery from April 28 to May 8.
The exhibition will be mounted in the gallery’s print room. It includes 19 water-colours, and black and white drawings of local buildings of historical interest.
Subjects include schools, a publishing house, homes and farm buildings.
Mr Margetts drew each particular drawing “on site” and completed the work in his studio.
To help him understand each building he has also completed a Bachelor of Architecture degree.
