Rangiora concert

Members of the Ham Wind Quintet will take part in a recital in Rangiora on May 4. The recital, which will be held at the Trinity Methodist Church, will be presented by the Rangiora Youth Choir under its conductor, Peter Dawe.

The choir, which was

formed last year, has a membership of 25 youngsters from the borough and surrounding districts. The quintet will present a piece by Anton Reicha and a series of lighter works. The choir’s programme includes folk song arrangements by Benjamin Britten and traditional Maori songs.
