Brahms series
Christchurch's resident Camerata Piano Quartet will give a series of Brahms concerts at the Arts Centre, starting next month.
The Sunday concerts will be on September 19. October 3. and October 31 at 3 p.m. in the Great Hall.
This series will give lovers of chamber music the chance to hear seven. major piano quartets, including all three by Brahms.
The Quartet, which comprises Paulene Smith. Elizabeth Rogers. Frances De Goldi, and lola Shelley, has put tw'o years preparation into the series. Most of the works have been recorded for radio, and the group has been engaged to record the rest later this vear.
