John Cairney. the Scottish actor, will be back in Christchurch with his New Zea-land-born wife. Alannah O’Sullivan, to perform in “A Taste of Theatre" at the Town Hall restaurant from August 24 to 28. The couple will greet guests at the restaurant door, dine with them, and then put on an hour of “cosmopolitan wit,” including songs, comedy items, and prose pieces. John Cairney was in Christchurch recently to perform in “The Ivor Novello Story.” The couple are in the North Island at present, and will perform in Britain and the United States later this year. They will return here in 1984.
