Unions sued
PA Wellington A ban on a ship at Wellington nine years ago has led to the High Court where a $318,620 damages claim against unions and union officers is being heard. The : Nauru Government, owner of the vessel Enna G, claims $lOO,OOO general and $218,620 . special damages. The plaintiff alleges con-
spiracy, ■ intimidation, and fraudulent misrepresentation by which the vessel was wrongfully detained at Wellington in 1973. The action, before Mr Justice Ongley alone, is expected to take several weeks. Mr R. W. Edgley, Q.C., with him Mr A. D. D. Mayne, appears for the Nauru Government.
