Four men remanded
Four men were remanded in custody to today when they appeared in the District Court on Saturday after shots were fired at two gang addresses early on Saturday morning. Terry Paul Taituha, aged 19, Alfred Ephia Stevens, aged 22, Dixon Ngatai Kahika, aged 20, and Faafoi Tue Tue, aged 19, all unemployed, were jointly charged with discharging a shotgun
without reasonable cause in ; a manner likely to injure or endanger the safety of any I person or property. • They are also jointly ; charged with unlawfully ; possessing a shotgun. Tue is ; further charged with receiv- ■ ing a stolen Baikal shotgun, ; valued at $3OO. ; Messrs D. B. O’Neill and S. ’ J. Smith, Justices of the Peace, refused an application for bail. |
