Higher Marac rates
PA Auckland Another financier has increased the interest rates it is offering to raise new funds. Marac Holdings has . increased its top rate to 17 per cent for two and threeyear terms. Marac said the increases were modifications to bring the company rates into line with returns being offered in the marketplace and reflected a continuation of strong demand for the company range of loan products. The new secured debenture interest rates, with old -cates in parentheses are: three months 13.5 per cent - (13.5) six months 15 per cent (14), nine months 15 per cent (14.5) 12 months 16 per cent (15.5) 15 months 16.5 per cent (15.75) 18 months 17 per cent (16), two years 17 per cent (16.5) three years 17 per cent (16.75) four years 17 per cent (16.5), five years 16.5 per cent (16.25), six years and over 15 per cent (14).
