League trial teams
The South Island rugby league team which thrashed Northern Districts. 65-5. late last-season has been retained almost intact tor the first Tooth Cup trial at the Show Grounds on Saturday evening.' Only tn the iront-row have changes been necessary. One prop. Ray Baxendale. is playing lor Wakefield Trinity in England, and the other. Terry Gillman. was not available Their replacements are Rex Dalzell and the West Coast representative. Peter Harris.
