Finn racing delayed
P.A Wellington The resail yesterday of Monday's abandoned race in the national Finn class sailing championships was cancelled because of a gale warning for Cook Strait and 30-knot winds in the Plimmerton Boating Club's racing area.
Yesterday was originally set aside as a rest day in the programme. Racing for the title will resume this morning. Auckland's Bruce Deeghan holds a handy points lead by virtue of wins in the second and third races sailed off Plimmerton on Tuesday.
