‘Fairy lights’ approved
PA Wellington None of the Christmas tree light sets on sale in New Zealand complies completely with wiring regulations, says the Ministry of Energy Electricity Division. But the division and the Standards Association say that the light sets have been approved for ale. None of the faults are dangerous, they say, and all sets when used correctly are safe for normal indoor use.
