It is staffed by the Librarian (approximately 30 hours per week) and Assistant (6 hours per week). A new Borough Library is to be built in the new Town Centre during the expansion programme, and it is expected the Librarian position will grow to a full time one. The Council is seeking applicants with the ability and experience or qualifications to develop the Library through this challenging period. Salary is in terms of N.Z.L.A. scale $12,403 - $15,604 according to qualifications and experience paid on a part time basis.
