Man on charge of murder
A man will appear in the District Court this morning charged with the murder of a woman, aged in her early 30s, at her home in Aidershot Street, Wainoni. early yesterday. ' The man, aged 29, had arrived at the Central Police Station with another man about 7.30 a.m. yesterday. He was arrested early last evening after the results of a post-mortem examination were known by detectives. The officer in charge of the case, Detective Inspector J. G. Howell, said that the police had found the weapon they were looking for in the house. He declined to say what the weapon was, or how the woman had died. The police found her body in a bedroom. Mr Howell said the incident appeared to be “domestically related.” The police were not seeking any other person.
