Trade Aid caravan
Sir,—l would like to express my thoughts on the letter sent by the Rangiora Businessmen’s Association to the Rangiora Borough Council re the siting of the Trade Aid caravan, and also comments made by G. Fox and various businessmen on this matter. I consider the remarks are paltry and unworthy of individuals and a business association domiciled in such a favoured place as Rangiora. Such fuss for only four days trading. I wonder if those concerned are really willing to help, in some small way, those whose station in life is so minute compared to our own. Thinking and acting small is still tar too prevalent in our affluent community—Yours, etc. D. F. POWER. November 8, 1981.
