Gold down
PA London Gold prices plunged on European bullion markets yesterday, hitting a threemonth low in London. Dealers said the drop came after a fail which began in New York because of the deepening United States recession. London gold fell SUSIS an ounce to $U5414.37, and some dealers predicted it would slip to $4OO. Gold closed at $422.75 in New York down $5.50
