Tom Scott’s book

Sir,—ln my book Rob Muldoon stood out at the Melbourne Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting as a true leader and patriot. According to editorial writers in leading newspapers in Britain our Rob was the only one present who acted and looked like a Prime Minister and bewailed the fact there were not more like him. In contrast Tom Scott and Labour’s leader Bill Rowling appeared like two little puppies sniffing around for old bones. Tom Scott may feel aggrieved that the Prime Minister does not include him in official circles. A reputation for non-partisan objectivity is essential. To me. the Scott brand of political satire does not fit a Commonwealth Heads of Government job specification.—Yours. etc., FRANK FREEMAN. October, 30, 1981.
