Canty men should reach semis
PA Whangarei Canterbury, Auckland, Wellington, and Northland all look set to reach the semifinals of the Challenge Shield after the third day of the Adidas-New r mans national men’s hockey tournament being played at Whangarei. In the second division Newmans Trophy, Auckland B recorded another impres-
sive win yesterday and together with Canterbury B and Otago it remains unbeaten. In the India Plate, Rotorua, West Coast and Wellington B are the only unbeaten teams after three days. Results.— CHALLENGE SHIELD: South Canterbury 3, Hawkes Bay 1;
