'Russ’ Kenny dies
PA Wellington Mr Sydney Russell (Russ) Kenny, president of the Levin Racing Club, died suddenly in Levin on Thursday. He was 68.
Mr Kenny was serving his second term as president of the club, having been a vicepresident for several years, He had been a committeeman for over 20 years, and during that time had raced a number of horses. He was also the club’s representative on the Wellington District Committee.
