The itinerary for Prince Charles’s visit to Canterbury over the next three days is.— Friday 3.45 p.m.: Arrives atChristchurch Airport to be greeted by the Deputy Mayor of Christchurch, the chairman and County Clerk of Paparua County Council and their wives. 3.50 p.m.: Leaves the airport by car for Cathedral Square via Memorial Avenue, Fendalton Road, Harper Avenue, Park Terrace, Rolleston Avenue, Armagh Street, Colombo Street. 4.5 p.m.: Arrives at Cathedral Square, gets out of his car and walks through the Square, down Worcester Street to Noahs Hotel. . 4.35 p.m.: Leaves by car for Canterbury Museum via Oxford Terrace, Hereford Street, Rolleston Avenue. 4.40 p.m.: Arrives Canterbury Museum to visit the Hall of Antarctic Discovery and meet people engaged in Antarctic research and exploration. 6.10 p.m.: Leaves the museum and returns to Noahs Hotel by car, via Rolleston Avenue, Gloucester Street, Oxford Terrace. 6.12 p.m.: Arrives at Noahs Hotel. 7.25 p.m.: Leaves for the Christchurch Town Hair by car via Oxford Terrace, Worcester Street, Cathedral Square,. Colombo Street, Kilmore Street. 7.27 p.m.: Arrives Town Hall for a concert by the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Christchurch Schools’ Choir and the Christchurch Youth Orchestra. 9.15 p.m.: Leaves the Town Hall by car for Noahs via Kilmore Street, Durham Street, Gloucester Street, Oxford Terrace. 9.17 p.m.: Arrives at Noahs for a private dinner. Saturday 9.45 a.m.: Leaves Noahs Hotel by car for Scarborough via Oxford Terrace, Durham Street, Tuam Street, High Street, St Asaph Street, Ferry Road, Tunnel Road, through the tunnel to Norwich Quay, Oxford Street, Sumner Road, Evans Pass Road, Wakefield Avenue, Marriner Street, the Esplanade to Cave Rock, where he transfers from his limousine to a Land-Rover, to drive along the sea wall. 10.20 a.m.: Arrives at Scarborough to attend a marijie search and rescue display by the New Zealand Coastguard Federation. 12.15 p.m.: Leaves the Sumner Lifeboat Institution for Noahs Hotel by car via Scarborough, the Esplanade, Marriner Street, Main Road, the Causeway, Ferry Road, St Asaph Street, High Street, Manchester Street, Gloucester Street, Oxford Terrace. 12.35 p.m.: Arrives at Noahs for a private lunch. 1.15 p.m.: Leaves Noahs by car for the Oxford Show via Oxford Terrace, Worcester Street, Cathedral Square, Colombo Street, Edgeware Road, Cranford Street, Main North Road, the motorway, Tram Road, State highway 72, Bay Road. 2.15 p.m.: Arrives at the Oxford showgrounds to attend the seventy-fifth jubilee show of the Oxford Agricultural and Pastoral Association. 3.45 p.m.: Leaves the Oxford Show by car for Noahs Hotel via Bay Road, State highway 72, Tram Road, the motorway, Main North Road, Cranford Street, Edgeware Road, Colombo Street, Oxford Terrace. The rest of the afternoon is free from official engagements. 7.55 p.m.: Leaves Noahs by car for the Chateau Regency Hotel via Oxford Terrace, Worcester Street, Rolleston Avenue, Park Terrace, Harper Avenue, Deans Avenue, Kilmarnock Street. 8 p.m.: Arrives at the Chateau Regency. 8.30 p.m.: Attends farewell dinner hosted by the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) and Mrs Muldoon. 10.15 p.m.: Leaves the Chateau Regency by car for Noahs via Kilmarnock Street, Deans Avenue, Harper Avenue, Park Terrace, Rolleston Avenue, Gloucester Street, Oxford Terrace. 10.20 p.m.: Arrives at Noahs Hotel. Sunday 9 a.m.: Leaves Noahs by-car for Christchurch Airport Via Oxford Terrace, Worcester Street, Rolleston Avenue, Park Terrace, Harper Avenue, Fendalton Road, Memorial Avenue. 9.15 a.m.: Arrives at the airport for the official farewell ceremony. 9.30 a.m.: Leaves for Australia.
