Proposed new air service
Sir, — Thank goodness for competition at last. In..the past three years and a half I have attempted to travel overseas on any other airline apart from Air New Zealand but to no avail. After having miserable experiences with the national airline in the past lam delighted,to think that Mount Cook may offer a daily service from the scenic South Island to Australia in what should prove to be a boon-to the tourist industry, added revenue for the Government coffers and a pleasurable experience’ in general;—Yours, etc., : A. CHISHOLM. August 20,-1980.
