Elections promised
Nicaragua will hold national elections in 1985, a member of the ruling junta has announced. The Sandinista National Liberation Front which ousted the dictator, Anastasio Somoza, last year, said elections would be held to choose “a Government programme and the men who should continue moving the revolution.” Meanwhile, the fiveman ruling junta will continue to govern Nica-ragua.—-Managua.
