Veteran dies
PA Auckland A player for the Te Atau “Golden Oldies” rugby team collapsed and died after suffering an injury in a match on Saturday. He was _ Tipi Whenua Peperi, . aged 48, a plumber, of Te Atatu South. Mr Peperi collided with another player in a match against an East Coast Bays team. He left the field 15 minutes latex; suffering from chest pains, and then collapsed. He was given mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, but died on the way to the Auckland Hospital.
