Pupils form picket on delicate issue

PA Wellington The texture of toilet paper has irked 10-year-olds at a Wellington primary school. They have formed a picket and want their “rough” and basic paper replaced by the baby-soft variety used by their teachers.

Using the techniques gleaned from lessons on their rights, the pupils of Glenfield Primary School, Wainuiomata, are organised by a j committee of nine in Standard 4.

The school's principal (Mr R. Morgan) was handed a petition with 146 signatures.
