Couple killed
PA Wellington A Kelbum greengrocer and his wife have been named as the couple killed in a two-car crash two kilometres north of Otaki on July 13. They were Kwong Hon Yip, and Joyce Yip. The couple were driving south early on the morning of July 13 when they collided with another car on a sweeping bend. Their funeral will be held today, although the police are still trying to find the couple’s two children, Robin and Linda Yip, who are travelling in Europe and do not yet know of their parents’ death.
