Onassis prizes
The former British Prime Minister, Mr Harold Mac.Milian, and the president ef the European Parliament, Mr& Simone Veil, have been awarded Alexander Onassis Foundation prizes. The Greek President (Mr Constantine Isatsos) presented the Olympic . Prize to. Mr MacMillan for his work as presi* dent of the British Save th® Acropolis Committee. Thai prize goes to people or organisations who contribute to the solution of ecological and environmental problems. Mrs Veil was awarded the Athenae Prize, which is given to people dr organisations contributing to the bringing together of people and respect for human dignity.—Athefis. ■? £ ■ '-''M
