Trade mission to South America
A New Zealand trade mission will visit South America in March to promote dairy-farming expertise and equipment. The mission will be , a follow-up to a visit To South America last year by members of the Export Institute of -New Zealand, who saw some good sales prospects. The mission will take the form of a lecture tbur of about one month combined with field-day demonstrations to people most influential in South American agriculture.
The director of the Export Institute (Mr R. Southcombe) said that some influential stock breeders from Ecuador had recently visited New' Zealand to visit farms and factories engaged in agriculture and that they were optimistic about the potential for New Zealand products in Ecuador.
