Canterbury women’s cricket teams
The Canterbury women's cricket team to take part in the Hallyburton-Johnstone national tournament later this month in Christchurch contains only one new cap. She is Nancy Williams, one of five Sydenham players in the side. Sydenham players are also captain and vice-captain of the team for the tournament, which runs from December 26 to January 5. The team is: P. Carrick (captain), L. Shankland (vicecaptain), S. Brown, N. Turner. N. Williams (all Sydenham), M. Alabaster, V. Burtt. K. Gilray, A. McKenna (St Albans), D. Hockley, J.
