Saunders diversities
R. W. Saunders, Ltd, clothing manufacturer, has . decided to enter into a part- ! nership venture in horticulture with Mr and Mrs J. | McLean, at Matakana. North l Auckland. The partnership will develop 20ha of freehold property, which has been approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries as siitable for horticulture and farming. The development period is
expected to be six to seven years, during which time expenditure, on present prices, is likely to be about $300,000 “Future results cannot be determined with complete accuracy, but our budgets of income have, we believe, been conservative, and we have every confidence that this diversification will provide worthwhile future benefits for shareholders," the directors sav.
