Southern African Round Tables
Sir, — Congratulations to those who opposed the presence of South African delegates to the conference of the World Council of Young Men’s Service Clubs. Round Table should be ashamed for inviting South Africans. These racist apologists for apartheid support a system that oppresses children because of the colour of their skin, that separates children from their fathers for most of the year, that runs an inferior education system for non-whites, teaching them to be servile to those with white skin. — Yours, etc., PHIL SAUNDERS. September 30, 1979.
