Vandals send car crashing

Only a garden fence prevented a car which had been overturned by vandals from crashing into a house at 191 Taylors Mistake Road last evening. The car had been parked above the house about 8 p.m. when it was rolled off the road and down the steep section, crashing through garden and bushes on the way. The occupant of the house, who heard the noise, went out to find the damaged car wedged against a fence just above a wall of his house. He said the car belonged to his neighbour, who is on holiday. Police patrols using tracker dogs scoured the area in search of the vandals, but they had not been found by late last evening.
