C.S.A. award to Nelson artist
A Nelson print-maker, Janet Bathgate, has been awarded the Canterbury Society of Arts Guthrey Travel Award for 1979. Miss Bathgate has exhibited at the C.S.A. Gallery in Christchurch since 1974. and has also exhibited in Auckland and Dunedin. She intends using the award, which has been increased from $5OO to $BOO, to spend two months studying print-makers in Australia.
