Millward in top form
NZPA Rockhampton Great Britain’s veteran Millward hit top form to rugby league test half, Roger lead the tourists to a determined 20-11 win over Central Queensland at Rockhampton yesterday. Millward was full of attacking ideas with clever switches of play that continually put his team on the move.
Great Britain scored four tries to one and led 10-4 at half-time in a match that never rose to great heights. Scores: Great Britain 20 (Tom Martyn 2, Eric Hughes John Joyner tries: Roger Millward'4 goals) beat Central Queensland 11 (Jamie Mitchell try, Lionel Cullen 4 goals).
