Deodorant victim
PA Invercargill A Timaru youth, aged 19. was taken to Cromwell Hospital for observation after succumbing to the effects of a deodorant spray at the Glendhu Bav motor camp. Wanaka. on Friday evening. The youth was treated by St John Ambulance men at the motor fiWp at 3C pen. after te became ill.
He and some companions had been playing with a deodorant. spraying it about their tent. The youth became unconscious and convulsed violently. He was given oxygen and taken to the Wanaka medical centre about 10km away, and then transferred bv ambulance to Cromwell Hospital for observation. His condition is not known.
