[officer (Mr D. W. Rowland) I said that the buildings had a market value of about $lO,OOO. The Y.W.C.A. felt it was unable to hand the property over to the council because considerable sums of money given to the Y.W.C.A. had been invested there, said Mr 'Rowlands.
