Cashmere reserve
The Waimairi County t Council may help the Christ- i church City Council buy . I.6ha of land in Cashmere for passive recreation. The land, near Cashmere < Road and Worsley Road, has i been offered to the Christ- 1 church City Council for i $158,000 for subdivision as j 16 residential lots. But the i City Council wants to use it i as a reserve, and hgs asked I
the Paparua, Heathcote and Waimairi counties to contribute towards the cost. The Waimairi County Council has decided to set up a public subscription fund, to which it would contribute. The matter will be given further consideration at the next meeting of the mayors and chairmen of the bodies concerned.
