Power-line plan
Sir, — Re the proposed power pylons planned for the north east of this city, I applaud the three gentlemen who are rightly indignant over the prospect and hope the residents concerned exercise their rights before they are confronted by an environment similar to the pylon area in Middlepark: Road. In this supposedly enlightened age all power transmission lines, in urban areas, should be underground. People are more important than costs. — Yours, etc..
