Wilkins and Davies Construction Company Ltd, has done $5O million worth of work without industrial 'troubles, the chairman (Mr
L. H. Southwick) said at the annual meeting. “You may have though! from references made to private industry that we have shortcomings in fulfilling major jobs,” he said te shareholders. “But private enterprise in the heavy construction industry could be entrusted with more work than is being made available to it.” Mr Southwick criticised the Government for not letting private industry do more major jobs. “I hope that as we move
