Bill to join airlines
PA Wellington The Crown will have shares in the new combined Air New Zealand equal to the equity capital of the former National Airways Corporation.
The Minister of Civil Aviation (Mr McLachlan) will move an amendment to this effect during the committee
stages of the New Zealand National Airways Dissolution Bill.
The last report of N.A.C. to Parliament showed N.A.C. had an equity capital of SUM. The bill seeks to validate the merger of N.A.C. and Air New Zealand and transfer N.A.C. assets to the new merged airline. ' i
