Two youths jailed

PA Auckland Two youths convicted of charges arising out of an incident when shots were fired at houses, cars, and factories have each been sentenced to six months imprisonment. They are Robert Lawrence Moke, aged 20, an unemployed driver, of Otara, and William John Richard Dally, aged 18, a labourer, of Otahuhu. They appeared for sentence before Mr J. R. Aubin, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at Auckland yesterday. They were found guilty at a previous hearing of six charges of wilfully damaging houses and flats in circumstances that might have endangered life, four charges of wilfully damaging cars, and two of wilfully damaging factory premises.
