T.T.U. star to miss cup clash
Trans Tours United is almost certain to be without its full-back, lan Park, for its Adidas Challenge Trophy soccer match against Rangers on Saturday. Park badly aggravated a knee injury during United’s most recent Rothmans league match against Wellington Diamond United. He injured the knee at training before United’s last cup match, against New Brighton 10 days ago. Another player in doubt for Saturday is the lively striker, Mark McNaughton. He has a shin injury, suffered in the same match against New Brighton, and did not play against W.D.U. With his fine centre-half, Glen Adam, still injured, Mr Conley might find his resources stretched if McNaughton is ruled out for the Rangers match.
