Rowing title to Bulgarians
NZPA Henley-on-Thames Bulgaria won the Grand Challenge Cup, the premier eights event, on their first visit to the Henley Royal Regatta and showed the power of Eastern Europe by taking two other titles at the traditional rowing festival. On its showing in the past 10 days, the Bulgarians are well advanced in their buildup for the world championships in New Zealand later this year.
